Cape Sound (2008-2013)
The textural, proggy “slacker jazz” of Cape Sound was a passion project of drummer/producer Jesse Clark (Coda in Blue) and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Erik Oatman that didn’t fully come into its own until the addition of Zephyr Avalon on bass. As they respectively reside in Portland, OR, Brooklyn, NY, and LA, CA, they no longer gig together but continue to collaborate from afar.
